The Independent Stained Glass and Mosaic Studio of Magdalena and Marcin Czeski has operated since 1997. We design and make church, office and monumental stained glass windows and mosaics, both in public buildings and private homes. Moreover, we specialize in the preservation, restoration and reconstruction of stained glass and mosaics in line with the guidelines of CVMA (Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevii), an international organization dedicated to recording and preserving historic stained glass. We record and appraise historic stained glass and mosaics, working with eminent specialist from the preservation sector. We hold seminars, conferences, lectures, presentations, students\' trainings, workshops, plein-airs associated with the art of stained glass and mosaics and heritage preservation.
About us: Magdalena Czeska, a holder of a Master’s degree in Arts, a sculptor. She graduated with honors from the University of Arts in Poznań (the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Art and Sculpture), and from Scuola di Mosaico in Ravenna.
Marcin Czeski, a graduate of the University of Arts in Poznań (the Studio of Painting in Architecture and Urban Planning), a holder of a Ph.D. in Arts awarded at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass, the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław (2011). He accomplished post-secondary studies in Historic Monuments and Architectural Heritage Preservation at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, under the supervision of Professor Jan Tajchman. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective, as well as plein-airs and symposia, also abroad (Zlaté Hory, Paris, Remont (Switzerland)).
In 2006 they were both presented with Brother Albert Chmielowski’s Award in the category of church art. They have created over 100 works in prestigious churches throughout Poland, especially in Great Poland and Pomerania, and carried out numerous preservation works in historic buildings.

Mosaic
Mosaic is the main interest of Magdalena Czeska, a graduate of the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Art and Sculpture at the University of Arts in Poznań. The artist creates monumental mosaics and numerous mosaic structures.

The mosaics designed in Magdalena Czeska's studio are created with the use of traditional methods and materials, such as ceramics, glass and stone. The studio specializes in creating monumental mosaic works as well as decorative mosaics for individual customers.
Preservation
Heritage Preservation. For years Magdalena and Marcin Czeski have been preserving, restoring and reconstructing historic stained glass and mosaics. We develop preservation plans and prepare documentation. We implement the preservation principles promoted by CVMA.

Marcin Czeski specializes in the art of stained glass. The artist creates monumental religious stained-glass works as well as office stained glass. His works are featured in numerous art exhibitions.
Stained Glass
The stained glass created in the Studio of Magdalena and Marcin Czeski is comprehensively manufactured - from design, through manufacture, to assembly at the destination site. We make stained glass using all known techniques, including the lead technique, Tiffany technique, fusing, etching, sandblasting, grinding, and last but not least – patination.
